In 2016 the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Technische Universität Braunschweig opened the Masch.Bau building to offer students more study rooms. The building has a modern design with panels in dark and light green behind a structure of aluminium. Especially when the sun is shining, the minimalist design of the building is emphasized.
