This picture was taken at the central station in Tokyo, Japan. While waiting for the Shinkansen to Utsunomiya on my way to NikkÅ, I saw this typical Japanese gift shop. It is a Japanese custom to buy and bring colorful boxes with sweets when visiting friends or relatives. You can find such shops at any major Japanese airport, train station or tourist attraction. What I like about this picture are the colorful boxes and the relections of the lights on the floor of the otherwise unesthetic surroundings (at that time the central station was being renovated).
