Autumn Years of a Wallpaper

I drive by this house every day on my way to work at the university in Braunschweig. One day, they started to tear down the house and this wallpaper was revealed under its shell. I never thought about this, but obviously removing all wallpapers before demolishing a house does not make much sense. Personally, I like the contrast between the rough remains of the previous building and the colorful wallpaper. One can argue about the decor of the rather kitschy motive, but the previous owner must have selected it for some reason. Now, it will be gone shortly just as its previous home.
